House Clearance in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés
Need to empty a house to sell it? Get a furniture valuation and a probate estate clearance?
Since 1955, Maison LEFÈVRE has been organising clearance services: furniture and object valuation, and complete clearance of the house or apartment. From cellar to attic, in Paris and Île-de-France, our team takes care of everything quickly.
Valuation of your objects and clearance costs
A clearance service has a variable cost between the value of the antiques and art objects valued and the time required to clear the property. The clearance can therefore be free (if the costs balance out) or work out in your favour.
Complete clearance according to specifications, disposal and landfill (Veolia), recycling, donations to charities (Approche, Emmaüs, etc.).
Probate cases
To facilitate the probate process, we offer a complete and detailed valuation for the clearance of the house or apartment. As with all our cash payments, we will provide you with a certificate for the notary.
Our interventions are fast and discreet. All personal effects (family photos, letters, etc.) will be left with you.
Contact us by phone or email to book an on-site appointment. We will support you through every stage of this clearance.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does an estate clearance work?
The clearance is organised in several stages: an initial visit to value the furniture and objects present, then the clearance itself, from cellar to attic. We empty the property completely according to the agreed specifications. Valuable objects purchased are deducted from the cost of the clearance. The rest is sorted between recycling, landfill disposal (Veolia) and donations to partner charities (Approche, Emmaüs).
Can an estate clearance be free of charge?
Yes, this happens frequently. The cost of a clearance depends on the balance between the value of the antiques we purchase and the time required to empty the property. When the value of the objects covers the cost of the service, the clearance is free. It can even work out in your favour.
What happens to furniture that is not purchased?
Furniture and objects without market value are sorted on site: some goes to recycling, some is donated to partner charities such as Approche or Emmaüs for a second life, and the remainder is disposed of at a landfill via our partner Veolia. Nothing is left behind.
Are personal effects and family documents preserved?
Yes, systematically. All personal effects — family photos, letters, papers, keepsakes — are set aside for you and are never cleared or discarded without your explicit consent.
What is the difference between a standard house clearer and Maison Lefèvre?
A standard house clearer charges for their service without distinguishing the value of the objects present. Maison Lefèvre, as a professional antique dealer since 1955, values each antique or art object before clearing: this allows us to give value to what is worth something and to reduce, or even eliminate, the cost of the clearance.
